Math Literature Technology

What is MLT?

The focus of the MLT program is to promote literacy and mathematics skills through technology integration. Every elementary student participates in a wide variety of technology integration projects using Microsoft Office applications, Inspiration, the Internet, and other instructional software. Students learn basic computer skills and terminology, while reinforcing important concepts in mathematics, language arts, science and social studies.

Programs

Students learn the Word, PowerPoint Excel and Publisher programs in MIcrosoft Office software. We have just been updated to Office 2007. Students in Grades K-2 use a more age appropriate version of Microsoft Office called Scholastic Keys.The programs are called Max Write(Word), Max Show(PowerPoint),  and Max Count(Excel).
